  • Before I forget for the night, something that occurred to me that hasn't been discussed yet (and probably should before we all get too ahead of ourselves) is what categories will be used for the wiki. It would probably be a good idea to outline what categories to use and what to use for new categories, and to have that somewhere pretty upfront and accessible.

    • I'm assuming there will be the classic Male muse, female muse, non-binary muse, good muse, evil muse, neutral muse, type thing going one? Along with their species and kingdom aligement?

    • May I suggest categories? Not based on gender but instead Mario Nintendask, LoZ Nintendask, Kirby Nintendask, Other, and Inactive/Renamed blog Nintendask? Sub-categories/flags can be added as needed to individual pages. If the categories base on gender alignment/identity of the muse, that seems a little restrictive... and kinda ship-y. No offense meant, VoxyG. I just think it'd be better to be more technical with categories.

    • I see what you mean, that's just how eikis are normally set up so that's whta I first went to. You suggestions are good too and they'd probably be just as effective.

    • I do agree that series, species, game, and affiliation are definitely things that should be categorized as applicable. One of the bigger questions, though, is how to actually present those categories and how we actually want to divide content up.

For example, Mario (series), The Legend of Zelda (series), for main series, and likewise for their spinoffs (Mario & Luigi, Mario Party, etc.). There are a few different ways we could actually present that sort of stuff, though.

The whole dividing things up matter, too. Right now, for example, we have multiple categories pertaining to Goombas (Goombas, Goomba Muse, and Goomba muse (oops)), which seems a bit redundant. I think it would make more sense to just stick to Goombas (likewise for other species). I can't imagine right now we'd have a large number of supplemental articles (right now we only have one), so for now we could simply pull it to the start of the category listing using a sort key so it won't be buried under muse pages.
